F. 21- I took Zicam cold remedy rapid melts yesterday and am very upset with it’s adverse affects. I only took one tablet as soon as it started to dissolve the taste got increasingly pungent in the most DISGUSTING way possible. It was like bitter sour rotten taste that got stronger and wouldn’t go away. As soon as it had fully dissolved in my mouth I began to VOMIT 6x. I’m sure it was that bc it was the only thing I’d taken recently and it happened as an immediate result. This might not happen to everyone but zicam has sure done a POOR job at properly labeling their product to things that can easily prevent adverse effects on people like myself. I’m not allergic zinc or anything either the only thing I avoid is aspirin bc blood pressure and anything that dehydrates me bc it’s difficult to stay hydrated, so if these are things you also avoid I would reconsider or simply take your business elsewhere where an emphasis for your well being is considered w/ effective warning labels!

So glad I found this board. I feel my teeth are more sensitive after using sensodyne for a few weeks.

I am now experience sore throat, dry mouth, thirst, and just recently heartburn like feeling /nausea.

I am going to stop use tommorow and see how it goes. Good luck to everyone, I hope this is not permanent damage!

Centrum Vitamins give you Hemorrhoids and problems using the toilet like constipation. I finally figured this out and have stopped using them. Can't believe I've been paying for years to cause problem in my body.

After being changed from Simvastatin to aspavor, blood tests showed an underactive thyroid. I now have to take thyroid supplements. Is there any reason why Aspavor is preferred by physicians over Simvastatin, other than kickbacks.

I was taking restasis for about a week and developed a burning sensation in my mouth saw my family dr...he thinks it's either thrush or burning mouth syndrome ..its an awful feeling...I even went to urgent care...caused slot of anxiety for me

I literally got facial paralysis from orajel on my left side in 2014. It was diagnosed as bells palsy. 5 years later its about 50% recovered, with some involuntary eye squinting when i try to smile. It kinda ruined my life, facial palsy is an awful awful demon. I hate eating in front of people, never smile, its brought anxiety, fear & embarrassment

Warning! GaviLyte caused my blood pressure to spike. I am a 71 year old female. My usual bp is about 118-120 over 75-85. Within hours of starting the GaviLyte, my bp rose to181 over 111. I have to drink another 1.5 liters today before my colonoscopy and cannot take my bp meds. Am scared that I may have a stroke. My gastroenterologist told me that it was unlikely to be the GaviLyte causing this sudden rise in my bp and to go to the ER if I was worried. Hell yes, I'm worried but how can I go to the ER when I'm glued to the toilet?
Having googled this, I see I am to alone. Why is there not a warning about this?

I started having vitiligo shortly after receiving anthrax shots in the military. I reported it and they said no because it would cause the government to have to pay me a disability payment and have my skin treated. IT DOES NOT RUN IN MY FAMILY. I was ORDERED to take the shot whether I wanted to or not. So to the person who posted the original message, please contact me. I think there are others with the same problem. The shot is an immune system drug to counteract Anthrax. I believe our bodies are attacking the antibodies and destroying our pigmentation in the process (the very nature of Vitiligo).

I started taking Bystolic 10mg 5 weeks ago. Migraines are much worse and leg cramps are unbearable. I have also gained 7 pounds.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
I think I'm going to have to slowly come off of this medication and see cardiologist again.

After a little over 30 days on 5 mg xeljanz, qd, I'm having acute anxiety, periods of weepy depression and my fibromyalgia seemed to at first dissipate, now worsening. I can't tolerate normal 2 5 mg/day bcuz side effects horrible-nausea, dizziness and arthralgia.

My daughter has lately been experiencing migraines. We weren't even aware of the low bone density side effect. my daughter has a dairy allergy and doesn't eat much calcium foods. She's broken bones in 3 different places within the last 1.5 years. We are taking her off QVar.

I started taking Sinemet a couple of months ago and am having expressive aphasia when writing. I couldn't write myself out of a paper bag if I wanted to. It's very frustrating. Anybody else have the same issue? If so, what can be done about it?

Was started on Ranexa in Feb after a cath showed blocked blood vessels. Almost immediately I noticed frequency in urination, now just about 60 days later, it's to the point I always have to go and having to use depends when i'm seeing clients because i always feel like i have to go. This is not acceptable with being in sales etc. I am also on plavix and aspirin after a heart attack nov 29 2017. This is embarassing, having to do laundry all the time.

just finished a 7 day cause of this for a tooth related sinus infection its worked where other antibiotics haven't touched it like cephalexin and various others but the side effects were terrible upset stomach pins needles in hands tiredness fatigue headaches on the whole I'm glad the infection has gone but even after finishing them side effects but only mild id say the worst one was upset stomach but has now passed I'm glad to say the one thing I would say for being on any antibiotic is to have plenty of live yogurt as antibiotics can kill all the good bacteria in your body.

Awesome. Finally a comment section for medication side effects so people can compare issues that the drug companies don't talk about. I'm bookmarking this site. Anyways, my vision is not the greatest but it has gotten drastically worse since starting Xifaxan. Bright white computer screens get blurry after too long and I can't read small type with my glasses. Need to take them off like and old man but I'm only 46.

Your doctor should have told you to go on a probiotic. It helps counter balance the antibiotic. My doctor's office told me to do that yesterday and I'm realizing that we should always go on probiotics when we have to take antibiotics. I hope everything worked out well for you.
